Dr. Jeffrey Spillers

Dr. Jeffrey Spillers was born in Casper, Wyoming, where he spent his early childhood with his identical twin brother and younger sister, before his family relocated to Reno, Nevada. He attended school from elementary through college in “The Biggest Little City in the World,” culminating in a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno. Dr. Spillers was then accepted into the prestigious three-year program at the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry in San Francisco, California. While in dental school, Jeff married his college sweetheart, Stevie, and they currently have three beautiful girls. I was born and raised in Southern California and decided to join the Navy at an early age. That created the pathway for my career in dentistry. I have a passion for dentistry and I love what I do.

I have 2 amazing daughters who I spend most of my time with. When I’m not working or with my girls, I play softball on a coed team, hike and travel as much as I can.

I graduated from Pima Community College with Honors recognition and received the HuFriedy Outstanding Clinic Award known as the “Golden Scaler Award” for my clinical judgement and skills in dental hygiene services. I am truly passionate about my profession and love helping people feel confident about their teeth and overall oral health. I believe it is important to make the connection between the oral cavity and the rest of the body. I can guarantee to make you feel comfortable and be as informative as possible.

I am the youngest of three and love spending time and being a role model for my nieces and nephews. I like hiking, capturing nature scenery images, cloud gazing, tacos, and butterflies. My favorite TV show is Criminal Minds. My all-time favorite vacation destination is the beach. In the future I would like to travel the world and be able to provide my services and knowledge to others.

I am originally from Tucson, and am a wife of eighteen years to my husband Mickey. I am also a mother of two, to Victoria (17) and Emilio (13) who definitely keep me on my toes. I’m the youngest of three, and have two older brothers. I started in the dental field after my son was born.  I have enjoyed working in the dental field for 13 years. I started my externship with Dr. Neil Anders back in 2003. The staff and Dr. Anders taught me well and we all got along so great that they invited me to stay on. I worked for Dr. Anders until 2007 when Dr. Harry Collins and his partner Trish Savage bought the office, and they kept me on. I have learned a lot from Dr. Collins.  We all joke about how I came with office. And in 2013 Dr. Spillers joined our dental family. So I have had the pleasure of working with three great doctors and learned a lot along the way to make me a better assistant and patient care and treatment coordinator. I went from dipping X-rays to 3D digital X-rays. I love working with ALL my dental family.

Jumping on board with the Caring for My Smile family has been nothing but a positive experience. Bianca absolutely loves her dental family. Working with a dentist that has the same desire for our patients makes her job that much more enjoyable.
